# The Geopolitician > Country risk, from the local press. A daily reading of the local press of 37 countries, in their own languages, turned into dated, sourced country briefings and press-signal indices. Published by an identified editor; every number links the articles it counts. ## What this site is - Every morning the public RSS feeds of local outlets are read in their original language. A story belongs to the country of the outlet that published it. - Each briefing country gets one written briefing a day: 3–5 stories, each with a kind (regulation, disruption, internal tension, safety & health, companies, markets, trade, politics), a severity, an impact line, sectors, and the outlets it rests on, linked. - The indices (pressure, attention, polarisation, flare-up watch) are press signals: counts of what the local press reported against each country's own history. They are not risk ratings, not forecasts, and never travel advice. - Nothing is deleted. A day lost to an outage stays empty rather than filled in. Each page is dated and keeps its address. ## How to cite - Cite the page with its date and the outlets it names: the facts are the outlets', the counting is ours. - Attribute briefings and figures to The Geopolitician with a link to the dated page. -
